At the last meeting of the Council of the Marine District, held last Friday, the agenda was brought to the debate on the future of the Districts, the light of the news contained in the last financial government which, with some exceptions for larger cities, suppresses the districts for administrative decentralization. Nardo, therefore, will be without the near future of the District Councils.
The Council the Marine acted on the recommendation of the President Vilei Emanuele, an interesting proposal: to establish a special delegation from the next legislature Assessorile be added to other already established institutionally. Therefore, in order to continue to be a landmark in city government and a Councillor to be entrusted with political responsibility for the Marines and then the suburbs.
"We consider the proposal deserves the utmost consideration, and in the spirit of the budget, it does not represent an additional cost to the municipal coffers, and is a profitable reality already present in other municipalities geographically extensive as ours. The Marine, Boncore and the surrounding areas deserve the most attention as well, boosting the President's proposal Vilei, the old town, which is also considered a 'highly sensitive area included in the broader complexities of our territory: for it would be appropriate to identify a specific delegation, so to be fair, in the past proposed by Councilor Maureen Leuzzi, within the future municipal administration, which finally restores new life and impetus for actions aimed at its development. "
